This is to CONFIRM and underline that all the applicants for all type of visa issue, at the time of submitting the documents to request the visa, must provide all the required documentation otherwise, the request will NOT be accepted by the outsourcing Italian Visa Application Center (IVAC). This does NOT mean a visa refusal but simply that, in the absence of the required documentation, the outsourcing cannot provide and accept the visa application.
This procedure is the same for all types of visas.
Only when the applicant, for each type of visa submits all the required documentation properly prepared, the IVAC center can accept the visa application, the entire file will then be sent to the Visa Office for review for specific determinations in each case.
The Consulate, and specifically the Visa Section, is NOT responsible for any delays caused by other authorities or public entities involved in procedures necessary for the issuance of documents, statements, or authorizations required for the visa application process.
If the visa applicant books a different type of visa request online, their application will NOT be accepted by the IVAC outsourcing and the fee paid will not be refunded. Each applicant must book exactly the appointment for the visa application according to their specific type.
The IVACcenter is authorized on behalf of the Consulate to carry out the first check of the documents, meaning to verify that all required documentation is included in the file and present, otherwise the application will not be accepted.
Each applicant must handle their own visa application, complete with all supporting documents as required by Schengen and Italian regulations and NO responsibility can be shifted or assigned to the Consulate of Italy in Karachi in this regard.
The Visa Section of the Consulate will only get involved once the complete visa application file has reached the Consulate of Italy in Karachi.
It should be noted that the visa is a concession granted by the country issuing it, in this case Italy, and NOT a right automatically acquired by the applicant.
