Fabrizio Bielli – Consul of Italy
- Born in Rome, 24th August 1965
- 7 February 1990, started working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Economic, Commercial and Financial officer;
- assigned to the Office of the Directorate for Development and Cooperation, office for projects in the countries of the Horn of Africa, during this period actively cooperated with the Crisis unit of the MFA;
- from January 1992 for approximately five years served at the Italian Embassy in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) as Commercial Attaché;
- from 1997 for approximately four years served at the Italian embassy in Tehran (Iran) as Commercial attaché and part of it as Head of the Visa Office;
- from June 2001 to September 2002 back at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Duty Officer;
- from September 2002 for about five years Commercial Attaché and Security Officer at the Italian Embassy in Tehran (Iran);
- from August 2007 until June 2011 at the Italian Embassy in Beijing (China) as Commercial Attaché, Deputy Head of Organization of “Casa Italia” during the 2008 Olympics Games event, Head of the Visa Office;
- back at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Duty Officer;
- from January 2012 to January 2013 Deputy of the Italian Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Office in Taipei (Taiwan);
- assigned for approximately two years until the summer of 2015 as Head of the Consular, Visa office at the Italian Embassy in Abuja (Nigeria), during the last year carrying out the functions of Deputy of the Embassy;
- from 2015 and until September 2020 assigned to the Italian Embassy in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) as Deputy of the Embassy;
- from 2020 for two years Head of the Consular and Visa Section at the Italian Embassy in Asmara, last year carrying out the functions of Deputy of the Embassy;
- back to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Duty Officer;
- Head of the Consular Section at the Italian Embassy in Beijing (China) from September 2023 till January 2025;
- appointed Italian Consul in Karachi since 13th January 2025.
