| FAMILY REUNIFICATION VISAS FOR FAMILY MEMBERS OF EU CITIZENS – KARACHI OFFICE
Applicants who are permanent residents within the consular jurisdiction of the Consulate of Italy in Karachi may request an appointment for a family reunification visa with an EU citizen by submitting their request exclusively via Certified Email (PEC) to the following address: con.karachi@cert.esteri.it To increase the daily availability of appointments for applicants, appointments will be scheduled at the BLS-Intiana Visa Application Centres in Karachi and Quetta. The only fee payable is the BLS service fee of €35. Note: Due to the high volume of requests received by this Consulate via certified email, only appointment requests accompanied by the required supporting documentation will be considered, including:
Applications submitted by the applicant’s legal representative must be accompanied by a valid power of attorney or authorization signed by the applicant. Important Note: The Consulate of Italy in Karachi does not receive visa applicants directly at the Visa Office counter. Due to well-known security conditions, the Consulate is subject to strict security restrictions. Measures have therefore been implemented to protect Consulate personnel, and all applicants are required to comply with these arrangements. Accordingly, to ensure the continuity and efficiency of consular services, all applicants are kindly requested to submit their visa applications through the designated BLS International Visa Application Centres in Karachi and Quetta. Furthermore, given the exceptionally high number of applications received by the Consulate – particularly for tourist, business, and study visas – the use of the outsourced visa application centres is intended to improve the efficiency of the application process in accordance with applicable regulations and to enhance the quality of service provided to applicants. |
