For university pre-enrollment and study visa for the academic year 2025-26 applicants must follow these steps:
1. Register on the web portal https://www.universitaly.it and print the registration receipt.
2. Obtain a CIMEA comparability certificate for their educational qualification through web portal: https://www.cimea.it/EN/pagina-attestati-di-comparabilita-e-verifica-dei-titoli
3. Apply for study visa by taking an online appointment at: https://theitalyvisa.com/ Italy Visa Application Center, Plot No. 11C, Near Coffee Bean, Bukhari Commercial, DHA Phase-6, Karachi
4. Italy Visa Application Center will accept applications on the basis of appointments from the residents of Sindh and Balochistan only.
5. Study visa applications should be submitted at least 90 days before commencement of the study program. (Study visa applications must be submitted before and not later than 30th November 2025)
Students are advised to apply early and get a CIMEA comparability certificate as most universities in Italy now accept CIMEA comparability certificate as an alternate of Declaration of Value (DOV). For study visa all foreign educational documents have to be translated in Italian language followed by the Apostille stamp from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Karachi and Quetta.
