- LEGALIZATION (Attestation) SERVICE FOR FAMILY VISA
In order to be valid in Italy, acts and documents issued by Sindh and Baluchistan, after been attested by Pakistani Authorities, must be legalised by the Consulate of Italy in Karachi and translated in Italian.
The documents can be dropped at the Consulate of Italy in Karachi, upon appointment, from 9 to 12 or at:

The Consulate of Italy in Karachi can legalize only documents issued by Sindh and Baluchistan Authorities.
All documents issued by Authorities of Punjab and KPK must be legalized by the Embassy of Italy in Islamabad http://www.ambislamabad.esteri.it .
Please check with Local Pakistani Authorities where to get your documents attested. as they can change without any notice to the Consulate of Italy in Karachi.
Basically:
For residents of Sindh:
- Birth/ Marriage Certificate issued by Union Council on the letter head of NADRA, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Karachi and translated in Italian.
- Nikah Nama attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Karachi and translated in Italian or, if written in Urdu, translated both in English and in Italian.
- Family Registration Certificate (FRC)/ B-Form issued by NADRA, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Karachi and translated in Italian or, if written in Urdu, translated both in English and in Italian.
- Police Character Certificate issued by the competent Police authority, attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Karachi and translated in Italian or, if written in Urdu, translated both in English and in Italian.
- Affidavit issued by Oath Commissioner/Notary Public, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Karachi and translated in Italian or, if written in Urdu, translated both in English and in Italian.
For residents of Balochistan:
- Birth/Marriage Certificate issued by The Metropolitan Corporation in Quetta on the letter head of NADRA, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Quetta and translated in Italian.
- Nikah Nama attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Quetta and translated in Italian or, if written in Urdu, translated both in English and in Italian.
- Family Registration Certificate (FRC)/ B-Form issued by NADRA, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Quetta and translated in Italian or, if written in Urdu, translated both in English and in Italian.
